TICHELAAR, Aaltje "Alice" - At her residence on Wednesday May 11, 2011. Aaltje "Alice (nee Van Emden) Tichelaar of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Catherine St., Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Marinus Pieter Tichelaar. Dear mother of Joeuken Barker and her husband Albert of Breslau, Marinus of Woodstock, Peter and his wife Rosann of London and Edward of RR# 4, Woodstock. Loved grandmother of seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dear sister of Nellie Mulhouse and her husband Jack and sister-in-law to Shirley Van Emden. Predeceased by her brother Joe Van Emden. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday May 13, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at the Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St., Woodstock on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Reverend Peter Burrill officiating.
