Thornton Muriel Suddenly and Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Leisureworld, Oxford, on Thursday January 26, 2012. Alethea Muriel (Bannister) passed away on the anniversary of her marriage to her late beloved husband Ralph (dec. 1989). Loving mother of Aubrey (Cathy), David (Liz), Jim (Mary) and Margaret (Dave). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Dollie and Hettie and one brother-in-law Jack. Predeceased by 1 sister Gwen and 4 brothers Frank, Bill, Vic, and Ken. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford on Sunday from 7-9Pm and during the hour preceding the funeral service which will be held on Monday January 30, 2012 at 11 AM. Reverend Mark Marshall officiating. Interment Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
