Aldege Leonard (Al) Bigras

BIGRAS - Aldege Leonard (Al) Bigras passed away at his home on Sunday March 30, 2008 in his 64th year. He was born on April 10, 1944 in Timiskaming, Ontario. Al is survived by his wife and best friend Fay Bigras (nee Douglas). Loving father of Juanita, Tammy Strickert and her husband Alan and Angel and her friend Bill, all of Woodstock. He is also survived by his sons Paul Bigras and Peter Bigras and his friend Julie of Timmins. Dear and much loved grandfather of Kevin and Kaitlyn, Cassandra, Krissy, Chance, Alexis, J'viele, Brady, Olivia and Cora. Loved son of Cecile Bigras of Sturgeon Falls and brother of Ross of Sudbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Sudbury and Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his son Guy in 1994, his father Camille in 2007 and brother Glen and Chris. Al was a former member of the C.A.W. Local 636. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday April 1, 2008 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at The Family Church, 887 Dufferin St., Woodstock, (519-533-1777) on Wednesday April 2, 2008 at 1 pm with Pastor Ken Charlton officiating.
