ARAUJO - Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday November 14, 2004. Alberto Da Silva Araujo of Woodstock in his 71st year. Beloved husband of the late Valentina Duarte Araujo. Dear father of Joe Araujo, Carlos Araujo, Teresa Medeiros and her husband Larry, Emanuel Araujo and his wife Karen, John Araujo and his wife Diana, David Araujo, Jeannie Alves and her husband John and Dianne Araujo all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Michael and Victoria Araujo, Amy, Samantha, Justin and Jake Medeiros, Anthony and Tiana Alves and Julia Gerantonis. Also survived by brothers Antonio, Emanuel and Jose and by sister Larentina all of Portugal. Predeceased by brother Joao from Portugal. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St. Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Father Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions to the New Catholic Church Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
