Albert George Wickenheiser

WICKENHEISER- Peacefully at the LHSC (Victoria Campus) on Wednesday December 12, 2007. Albert G. Wickenheiser of Innes Place Woodstock in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Karon S. Wickenheiser (nee Wolfe). Dear father of Cheryl Dobbyn and her husband Brian of Wroxeter and loved grandfather of Marc and Danielle Dobbyn. Dear brother of Carl and his wife Audrey of B.C., Roy and his wife Faye and Helen Wickenheiser all of Stratford, and brother-in-law of Ferne Wickenheiser of Stratford. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother John. Albert was a member of the German Canadian Club in Woodstock, was an avid carver and fisherman, belonging to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. He loved to play softball, bowl and started a basketball league in Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock 519-539-0004 Thursday 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Bethany Lutheran Church 175 Springbank Ave. N. Woodstock Friday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Richard Holm officiating.
