KIRCHNER, Adrien Jeremy - It is with great sadness we announce the death of Adrien Kirchner who left us unexpectedly on Wednesday November 9, 2016. He is survived by his best friend and wife Nicole Kirchner (nee McNamara) and cherished daughter Makensie Kirchner. Also survived by his parents, Walter and Mariette Kirchner; his Parents-in-law James and Linda McNamara, and his brother and sister-in-law Shawn and Kyra McNamara and their children, Connor, Abby and Ryan. A devoted family man, his daughter was his absolute joy. Beyond family, a fortunate few called him friend, and saw how faceted he was beneath the surface. Adrien was a gentle soul borne of a bygone era who would have been right at home cruising with the Rat Pack in a 1950's Studebaker. And yet, an adventurous streak brought him delight in moments of skydiving, experiencing the CN Tower Edgewalk, and flying passenger in a Canadian Harvard. An artist at heart, Adrien's love of music was expressed through his veneration of the band, Pearl Jam - whose songs were a constant companion. His thoughtful musings, fine wit, and kind heart will be truly missed by those who love him. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the BROCK & VISSER FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday, November 20, 2016 between 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. A private celebration of Adrien's life will be held at a later date.
