The Lord took unto Himself on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, surrounded by his family Adrianus Dekker of Woodstock in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Dekker (nee van Dijk)(2003). Special friend of Doryne Prentice. Dear father of Josie Wagter and her husband Herman, Dick and his wife Frieda, and Betty Dekker of B.C.. Loved grandfather of Paul Wagter (Vanessa Vreugdenhil), Mark Wagter and his wife Theresa, Lisa VanMarrum and her husband Tom, Sarah Samuel and her husband Merlin, Amy Dekker (Dave O'Connor), and John Dekker. Great grandfather of Ryan Wagter and Ethan VanMarrum. Adrianus is also survived by his brother Joe and his wife Alli. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Thursday November 15, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Ken Ingram officiating.
