Adriana "Audrey" (Hulzinga) Hoekstra

HOEKSTRA, ADRIANA “AUDREY” (nee Hulzinga) – Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Amica Retirement Home, Mississauga, on Monday, December 16, 2019 in her 91st year.  Beloved wife of the late Marcus (Max) Hoekstra.  Loved aunt of Anna Paulina Schoonderwaldt, Afke Dales, Klazien (Ton) Berendsen, and Adrie Kroon and will be missed by their families here in Canada and in the Netherlands.  Cherished great aunt to Frank (Emmjay) Schoonderwaldt and children Tanya, Daniel, Tyler and their children; Joanne (Terry) Klingenberg and their son Devon; and Helen (Kevin) Cooper and children Sydni, Tyler, Cory and Amanda.  Predeceased by her nephew Tom Kroon and his wife Will, and her nephews in law Frans Schoonderwaldt and Gerrit Dales.  Our Aunt Audrey was the most generous, inspirational woman we loved who will now forever be golfing, gardening, hiking and sharing glasses of wine from above.  Audrey will remain lovingly in the hearts of her extended family and friends.  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1 to 2 pm with the memorial service to follow in the chapel at 2 pm.  If desired, memorial contributions to the V.O.N.
