Adrian "Andy" Veldman

VELDMAN, Adrian "Andy" - Jesus welcomed a gem of an angel on Sunday, April 24th, 2016 in his 82nd year. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully journeyed to reunite with his son Jim (1994) and his other family members who departed before him. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Van Aaken) for over 58 years. Loved father-in-law of Joan (nee McMillan) Veldman and Opa of Jason and Justin. Loving father of Steven and Carol (nee Robinson) Veldman and Opa to Michelle, Chris, Mike and Chad. Loving father of Mary-Ellen and Jim Zegers and Opa of Krista, Kevin and Katie. Loving father of Dan and Glynis (nee Rempel) Veldman and Opa of Josh, Megan, Ben and Kayla. Very proud Great-Grandfather of 13 lucky children. Andy is survived by one brother and two sisters and will be missed by his brother- and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews all in Holland. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) where there will be no formal receiving line, on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 5-8 pm and at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Friday April 29, 2016 from 10-11 am where the funeral service will follow at 11 am with Father Richard Dales officiating. A private internment will be at Hillview Cemetery which will take place at a later date.
