SHEWAN, A. Margaret- Passed away at Oxford Manor Retirement Villa, Ingersoll, on Friday July 28, 2017 in her 96th year. Dear sister to Bill (Inez) Shewan, Lloyd (Ethel) Shewan, Jack (Marion) Shewan, Boyd (Dorothy) Shewan, Amelia (Fred) Higgs, Agnes (Harold) Pounds, Arnold (Grace) Shewan, and Brock (Margaret) Shewan, all predeceased except Grace Shewan. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families; Ruth, Ronald, Donald, Dorothy, Brian, Marilyn, Bill, Jim, Nancy, Bonnie, Ken, Jack, Gary, and Marlene. Auntie Marg will also be greatly missed by Jack's children Nicole and Stephen. Margaret is the last of nine second generation children born in the Thamesford area. She was a proud former employee of the London Public Utilities Commission for 45 years. As per Margaret's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, the Woodstock Hospital or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427).
