The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Howard Sweazey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear James & family; I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. My dad (Norman Beckham) spoke very highly of both your parents. I believe they knew each other from school? Often I would see them 'strolling' thru the Sweaburg neighborhood in their golf cart, always smiling and stopping to chat. They both made this world a better place and they will be missed.
Sincerely, Ben & Karen Hughes

Condolence: To all of Howard's Family,

My sincere condolences on Howard's passing. Such wonderful memories of both Howard and Joyce and the whole Sweazey clan growing up in Norwich. I will always remember Howard's jovial sense of humour and his kind interest in me. I believe he is now reunited in love with Joyce. RIP.

Condolence: Sorry to learn of Uncle Howard's passing on the morning of May 17th.

Losing a Father or Mother is always difficult for their children.

Please accept my condolences as I think about your father and his many contributions to his family and community over many years. As perhaps brother Darrell has told Robin, I was able to see Uncle Howard on two occasions at Mt. Hope with Darrell. Both visits were precious and your Dad walked us to the elevator when we left. He will be dearly missed and always fondly remembered.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear of Howard's death. Your mum and dad were such fixtures in Sweaburg. Howard was always great for a wonderful chat mid-walk! Take care, all of you. We are sorry that we will be out of town on Tuesday, so we won't be able to collect hugs.
